We have found the following process essential in serving your company’s needs.
In today’s business world, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements are becoming increasingly important for businesses looking to protect themselves. These agreements are very important if you share information with another company for any reason, or if you hire an outside contractor, like UPI, to work for your business. As the name suggests, a mutual NDA allows you and UPI to protect confidential information.
UPI will need to first understand the scope of your project. What is the product? What is it used for? What type of packaging are you considering? How many will you need to produce annually? What is the time frame for product launch? What type of labeling/marking is required? What type of testing is required for the product? Will you be supplying product or would you like UPI to mix the product?
MSDS documents contain data regarding the properties of a particular substance. MSDS documents are an important component of product stewardship and workplace safety, they are intended to provide workers with procedures for handling or working with that substance in a safe manner. UPI must review all MSDS documents prior to quoting or contracting with any company.
UPI will review the project specifications and MSDS documents. UPI's review team consists of program management, inside sales, quality, operations, R&D and executive management. Communication between you and UPI will take place to ensure all project details are gathered.
UPI will provide a preliminary quotation for review and discussion. UPI will also discuss a pre-production run process that allows for you to receive samples of your product in your chosen packaging for evaluation purposes. The evaluation run also allows for UPI to review the production process for your specific product and determine if any special accommodations need to be considered prior to production.
Approval of the quotation.
