What are the benefits of MicroDose® unit-dose vials compared to other packages?
The MicroDose® unit-dose vials offer controlled dispensing via the tapered angled nozzle, which eliminates the chance of creating a mess.

How do you fill the MicroDose® unit-dose vials?
MicroDose® unit-dose vials are filled using our proprietary Modified Blow-Fill-Seal process. This is an in-line manufacturing process that combines blow-molding technology and small-volume filling.

Can I buy the MicroDose® unit-dose vials and fill them myself?
MicroDose® unit-dose vials can only be filled using our proprietary Modified Blow-Fill-Seal process. We do sell empty MicroDose® unit-dose vials that are not sealed.

Are MicroDose® machines available for purchase or lease?
At this time, MicroDose® machines are not for sale or lease. All MicroDose® unit-dose packaging is done in our Sandpoint, Idaho, facility. This may be considered in the future.

Can you do small runs?
Yes. We can process runs of 10,000 or even less for trial runs.

What is your standard lead-time?
Normal turn-around is 3-4 weeks. Runs over 1 million may take longer.

Do you accept blanket orders?
Yes. Unicep can offer blanket order purchase arrangements.

Is MicroDose® manufacturing an aseptic process?
At this time the process is non-aseptic.  MicroDose® unit-dose vials manufactured in the MBFS process can be secondarily sterilized via Gamma or E-Beam sterilization.

Can you alter the shape of the tip?
Yes. We can offer you a custom tip shape or altered design in order to meet your specific requirements.

Are colors available?
Yes. Unicep can recommend a stock color or we can offer a pigment to match your specified color.

Are different sizes available?
Standard sizes are 0.2ml, 0.5ml, 1.0ml, 2.0ml, 4.0ml and 8.0ml as well as custom sizes.

Are caps available for MicroDose unit-dose vials?
Yes. MicroDose® offers small vinyl caps that fit over the opened tips.

Are custom designs available?
Yes. Unicep can create a custom unit-dose design by altering the tip, bulb size and shape.

Can I see the MicroDose® machines in action?
At this time, due to the proprietary nature of the MicroDose® manufacturing process, access to the machinery is limited to Unicep employees only.

Do you have any representatives or distributors?
Unicep Packaging generally works directly with our customers. However, we do have several distribution partners that represent our products. Contact our Director of Sales and Marketing for more information regarding our distributors.

What other companies are using the MicroDose®?
Unicep Packaging Inc. has a policy of maintaining the confidentiality of our customers, therefore we are unable to provide names of companies using the MicroDose® unit-dose vials.

Do you have a Confidentiality Agreement?
Yes. Unicep Packaging has a standard Confidentiality Agreement designed to protect your interests.
