
Sandpoint, Idaho, April 22, 2009 --- Unicep Packaging, Inc. announced that two new employees have joined the UPI management team, Director of Operations, Don Prince and Quality Control Manager, Kelly Jones. Prince, who was previously Director of Global Operations at Telect, Inc., a telecommunications manufacturer, brings over 30 years of manufacturing experience to UPI. Prince's primary role at UPI will be to develop, implement, and direct daily operational activities and objectives to ensure the achievement of department goals with regards to efficiency, on-time delivery and quality. Prince will also continue to implement lean manufacturing techniques, developing a culture of continuous improvement, self-directed work teams and employee empowerment.
"As UPI's Director of Operations, my role will be to consistently deliver quality products and services to customers," said Prince, "Joining an organization like UPI gives me an opportunity to apply my knowledge and experience to a robust company building a foundation for a very bright future."

Also previously employed by Telect, Inc., as their Global Director of Quality, Kelly Jones brings several years of both operations and quality management experience to UPI. Jones will be managing all quality and laboratory activities ensuring compliance with established and approved policies and procedures, and FDA, cGMP, and QSR/ISO regulations.
"We understood the need to strengthen our Quality Control Program in order to continue to provide our customers with the results they expect," said Anderson, "Kelly brings the necessary passion, capability and leadership to oversee this effort."
