For secondary packaging of MicroDose® or Twist-Tip® dispensers, many customers prefer the option of our Vertical Form-Fill-Seal (V-F-F-S) pouches. Use these to maximize informational or marketing labeling space, group several units together in one package, sampling, point-of purchase, or barrier enhancement. We recommend V-F-F-S pouches for secondary packaging of MicroDose® or Twist-Tip® unit-dose vials under 10 ml. For vials 10 ml and larger or if you require carded or trayed products, we recommend Horizontal Flow Wrap.
Standard Front/Back film combinations are:
- Clear/Clear
- Clear/White
- White/White
- MET (silver)/Clear
- MET/PET (silver) both sides
Standard Roll Stock Widths:
Direct Thermal Transfer Printing:
- One-side only
- MET (silver) stock can only use black
- White stock- Black or Blue
Other Options:
- Tear-notch or Tear-slit for easy-opening
- Perforated strips of pouches
- Dual chamber pouch – great for two-product MicroDose® kits.
- Nitrogen flooding
- Literature inserts – include instructions or marketing pieces with MicroDose® units in a pouch. Excellent for product samples or single-use retail packaging.
